Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm

As our IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be a vital part of a highly skilled team, providing essential 2nd and 3rd-line support across all our sites. Your expertise will ensure our systems are robust, secure, and always available.
You're a proactive and highly skilled IT professional with experience as an IT Field Engineer. You're comfortable being hands-on, troubleshooting complex issues, and communicating effectively with users at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Charge on Support: Manage and monitor 3rd-line Helpdesk issues, providing expert 2nd and 3rd-level technical support to end-users, management, and directors.
- Build & Maintain: Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools across our diverse infrastructure.
- Ensure Peak Performance: Guarantee the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability and performance at all times.
- Security First: Maintain security updates on all client systems, safeguarding our digital assets.
- Streamline & Innovate: Develop and maintain support processes to boost system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate & Coordinate: Plan and manage work streams, allocating and monitoring tasks for our support partners and liaising with vendors for swift problem resolution.
- Contribute to Growth: Play a key role in the development, testing, and implementation of software, systems, and enhancements for all group laptop and desktop systems, including participating in the deployment of new operational support systems.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience as an IT Field Engineer.
- ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant IT/engineering field.
- MCSE Qualifications in Server, Windows, and Office are mandatory.
Core Technical Skills (Proven Experience):
- Infrastructure: Active Directory, Group Policy, Google Workspace.
- Hardware: Dell Servers, Storage, PCs, and Laptops.
- Client Software: Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 2019/O365.
- Networking: Ubiquiti, Fortinet, and comprehensive knowledge of network fundamentals (OSI, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, WLAN, Routing).
- Apple Products: Essential experience managing Macs, iPads, and iPhones.
Professional Capabilities:
- Strong team-leading and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and good SQL experience.
- Budget management ability.
- Must hold a full UK Driving License for field support.
