IT Infrastructure Engineer – 6-Month FTC Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract Salary: £45 000 - £50 000
La Fosse is partnering with a leading national hospitality group to recruit an IT Infrastructure Engineer for a 6-month fixed-term contract . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation going through continued transformation, supporting a dynamic and fast-paced environment at the heart of the UK’s hospitality sector.
The Role You’ll act as a key technical contact and escalation point within the IT function, ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of core infrastructure services across desktop, server, network, and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a varied environment and enjoys supporting both BAU operations and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Provide expert support and maintenance across the organisation’s desktop and application environment. Maintain and support on-premise server infrastructure, including Hyper-V clusters. Support and manage AWS cloud environments to ensure operational uptime of core systems. Maintain physical and wireless network infrastructure. Act as a point of escalation for 1st and 2nd line support teams. Configure and deploy new hardware devices in line with business priorities. Contribute to the improvement of IT processes, procedures, and documentation. Participate in an on-call rota to support out-of-hours business operations.
Skills & Experience Proven experience in an IT infrastructure support role. Strong knowledge of AWS administration . Experience with Microsoft Server, Office 365, and Active Directory . Understanding of networking principles , including Wi-Fi infrastructure. Proficiency in PC setup and configuration . Strong problem-solving, organisation, and communication skills. A proactive, flexible, and customer-focused approach.
