IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer

New Today

Overview

We are looking to hire an IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer to own and deliver both day-to-day IT support and infrastructure projects across our cloud-first, multi-site environment. You will have end-to-end ownership of IT operations, with responsibility for supporting staff, managing core platforms, and driving technical improvements and will report to our IT Manager.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to challenge themselves in a fast-paced, growing business and manage our Google Workspace environment, Intune MDM, networking, endpoint security, and RMM tools in order to keep our systems secure, scalable, and user-friendly as we expand. If you like problem-solving and implementing transformative solutions, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary IT contact for staff across London, Oxford, and our international offices, handling day-to-day support and infrastructure tasks.
  • Manage and optimise Google Workspace (users, groups, policies, security settings, and integrations).
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Intune MDM, ensuring devices are enrolled, compliant, and secured.
  • Support and troubleshoot networking across multiple sites (Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, VPNs, connectivity).
  • Improve our endpoint security / antivirus solutions and RMM platforms (monitoring, patching, automation).
  • Work with API endpoints to integrate systems, streamline workflows, and enable automation.
  • Deliver and support new infrastructure and cloud projects (system rollouts, SaaS integrations, migrations, security initiatives).

Qualifications

  • A background spanning 1st line, 2nd line, and infrastructure support.
  • Proven in-house IT experience (not only MSP) with ownership of systems and projects.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Workspace.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune MDM and endpoint management.
  • Solid understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with RMM platforms (Atera, NinjaOne, etc.) and endpoint security tools. Experience supporting IT across multiple offices and locations.
  • Experience with API endpoints for integrations and automation. Excellent problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Ability to balance support work with project delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with a desire to improve systems and processes.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to our Oxford site.
  • A collaborative approach, working closely with the IT Manager and wider teams.
