Job Description

Job: IT Network Automation Engineer

London, UK

Hybrid working – 3 days on-site

Full Time – both perm and contract available (sponsorship possible)

Overview

Our client, a major global financial institution, is seeking an IT Network Automation Engineer to join the UK Networks team responsible for the corporate network in the UK and the global electronic trading network.

Following years of ad-hoc growth, our client has received significant investment in its latency-sensitive electronic trading network, enabling a project to refresh hardware and redesign the architecture to be more efficient and scalable.

This project has ambitious timelines and requires focused effort.

We are looking for an experienced Network Automation Engineer with a proven track record of delivering and maintaining a stable network environment. The candidate must communicate clearly, have a strong understanding of trading infrastructure, and be comfortable working directly with developers and application support teams to ensure successful implementation and migration to the new architecture.

You will be part of a small, agile, multi-skilled team ensuring the London and Trading networks operate stably, optimizing functionality, performance, and security, and making improvements as needed.
