Enso Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading technology-driven organisation in Northern Ireland to recruit a Project Engineer for a fixed-term contract focused on a Windows 11 upgrade project. This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT professional with experience in device deployment and endpoint management to lead a large-scale upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, while also gaining valuable exposure to Microsoft Intune, Remote Resource Management (RRM) tools, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The Role You will take ownership of a company-wide Windows 11 upgrade, supporting everything from technical assessment to deployment and post-rollout support. Working closely with the internal IT team and project stakeholders, youll ensure a smooth, secure and efficient transition with minimal business disruption. Key Responsibilities Lead the rollout of Windows 11 across all business devices and departments. Use Microsoft Intune to manage device configuration, compliance policies, application deployment, and enrolment. Support remote diagnostics and upgrades using RRM tools. Ensure seamless integration with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, etc.). Troubleshoot issues during and after deployment, escalating when needed. Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Provide post-deployment support and user training where necessary. Contribute to best practices around endpoint security, patch management, and device compliance. Essential Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 deployments in a business environment. Proven capability using Microsoft Intune for endpoint management. Familiarity with RRM tools for remote device support. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including user setup, applications, and configuration). Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently on a time-sensitive project.
