We celebrate equality and diversity and strive to provide an environment where you can thrive and grow.Your RoleWe’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to help keep our internal and cloud infrastructure running smoothly. Reporting to the Head of DevOps, IT & InfoSec, you’ll provide hands-on support across the business, resolving day-to-day technical issues, onboarding new team members, and contributing to service improvements.This is a great role for someone passionate about IT support, with a proactive mindset and a knack for problem-solving. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and user-friendly.Your main responsibilities will include:Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries, using our helpdesk systemTroubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issuesPreparing laptops and tech for new starters, and delivering technical inductionsSupporting our cloud-based infrastructure and systemsManaging software licensing and working with suppliers to ensure value for moneyMonitoring system performance, applying updates, and helping keep our infrastructure secureAssisting with endpoint management and user identity tools such as Intune and Azure SSOSupporting DevOps-related tasks and contributing to process improvementsWhat we are looking forThe ideal candidate will have:Hands-on experience with supporting IT hardware and softwareFamiliarity with both Windows and Mac OS environmentsExperience using a helpdesk or ticketing systemClear and confident communication skillsStrong attention to detail and good problem-solving skillsThe ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressureA professional, patient, and tactful approach when supporting usersYou’ll need to be able to travel to our St Albans office regularly (typically 2-3 days per week, with flexibility)We welcome applications from recent university graduates who are eager to learn and build their IT careerIt would also be great if you have:Experience with Azure, Intune, Entra ID, or Azure DevOpsAn interest in cloud infrastructure or DevOps practicesWhat we can offer youWe want you to grow and develop and will provide you with the opportunity to make this happen.
