IT Support Engineer

Keen to join a rapidly expanding technology company in London as the face of the IT department? Excellent communication skills? Ability to hit the ground running? This could be for you. My expanding technology client in London are seeking a dedicated IT and user support engineer as they grow their London team. You will need basic IT support and troubleshooting experience – this is a standalone role as the main IT support and Network team are based in Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up new users with hardware and log on information (growing at about 10+ users per month)
  • Diagnosing and resolving basic IT issues for hardware, software and network
  • Escalating more complex problems to 2nd line support
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining clear communication with users
  • Basic server administration for the onsite servers
  • Helping or escalating any AV issues
  • Reporting ISP issues and assisting in basic troubleshooting

Qualifications / Helpful experience

  • Experience with Google Admin and user setup
  • Windows desktop support
  • Hardware and laptop troubleshooting
  • Jira
  • TCP/IP

Contract details

£150 per day Inside IR35 contract • 6-month contract • Onsite in Central London
