IT Support Engineer – 6 Months – Remote My client is looking for an IT Support Engineer with an expertise in patch engineering to join on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role focused on helping to maintain secure systems and assisting with patching activities to reduce a critical security backlog across 2,700 devices. Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer: Assist in reviewing vulnerability alerts using

and support patching activities with guidance from senior engineers. Help deliver patch updates for end user devices and maintain security standards. Document processes, issues, and resolutions clearly for the wider IT team Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer: Basic understanding or interest in security patching and vulnerability management. Proven experience with

Qualys

. Strong knowledge of

Windows 10/11

for troubleshooting and basic security tasks. Experience with

SCCM

or similar tools is helpful but not essential. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
