IT Systems Engineer (Virtual Infrastructure) - London

I'm working with a leading global financial services organisation that is looking to add an IT Systems Engineer (Virtual Infrastructure) to its growing London team.

\n

You'll join a highly skilled engineering group of proactive, creative minds who are shaping the future of the company. The team supports complex, large-scale environments running 24/7, where performance, reliability, and innovation are key.

\n

In this role you'll manage and evolve virtual infrastructure across backup, converged and hyper-converged platforms, while driving automation with tools like Ansible and PowerShell. Alongside ensuring performance, security and reliability, you'll contribute to disaster recovery and key infrastructure projects in a mission-critical environment.

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n Proven experience in infrastructure engineering or operations within complex environments. \n

Strong knowledge of VMware virtualisation, Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure, Cohesity backup solutions, and converged infrastructure. \n

Familiarity with automation and DevOps approaches, ideally with Ansible and PowerShell. \n

Exposure to storage platforms such as S3 and file solutions. \n

A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. \n
