As a junior full stack Java developer here, you will be exposed from the start to commercial production and delivery of software development to live platforms. You will have access to senior developers for mentoring on day-to-day work and will collaborate on current product development and releases.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle for live platforms with guidance from senior developers.
• Collaborate with product, test, hardware, graphics and other teams based in the UK to deliver high-quality software.
• Contribute to product ideas, development best practices and continuous improvement.
• Support and learn across modern Java technologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Java programming
• Good knowledge of programming principles and web development
• Experience with relational databases
• Ability to undertake research and self-study in a disciplined manner
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Desire to learn new technologies and ways of working
• Strong communication skills and educated to degree level
