Are you a passionate Java engineer ready to build scalable, cloud-native services that make a real-world impact? We’re looking for a Java Server-side Engineer to join our growing team and help shape the future of our geospatial and cloud-based platforms.

Level: Mid to Senior

Location: Hybrid (UK-based, Bristol)

Type: Full-time | Permanent

What You’ll Be Working On

• Designing and building robust backend services using Java 21+
• Developing RESTful APIs and microservices with Helidon (or similar frameworks)
• Deploying and scaling applications in Azure Cloud
• Automating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Workflows
• Working with PostGIS and geospatial data (desirable but not essential)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with modern Java (21+)
• Solid understanding of web frameworks – Helidon preferred, but Spring Boot or Micronaut also welcome
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions/Workflows for CI/CD
• Bonus: Experience with PostGIS, geospatial data, or mapping APIs
