OverviewSoftware Engineer (Java, Spring Boot, Azure) | Glasgow (fully on-site) | £550–£650 per day (Inside IR35) | 6 months (with strong potential for extension)A long-standing consultancy partner is recruiting for Software Engineers to support a major banking client in Glasgow. This is a hands-on development role within a fast-paced environment, ideal for engineers who build scalable systems within financial services.Please note: No sponsorship is available for this role. Applicants must hold valid Right to Work in the UK.Experience in the banking sector is key!Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture.Build, deploy, and manage solutions within Microsoft Azure, particularly App Services.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.Contribute to infrastructure automation and provisioning with Terraform.Collaborate closely with stakeholders and delivery teams in a financial services context to ensure secure, compliant, and high-quality software delivery.Key RequirementsProven experience in Java and Spring Boot development, ideally within microservices environments.Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services (App Services preferred).Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.Strong understanding of CI/CD automation, particularly with Jenkins.Prior experience delivering within financial services or other regulated sectors.Comfortable working fully on-site in Glasgow within a collaborative consultancy environment.Must hold valid Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available).If you're an experienced Java Engineer, apply now as this could be the role for you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
