Junior Electrical Engineer Building Services Vertical Recruitment is working with a leading Building Services Consultancy based in Manchester. Established for over 25 years, they have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions across multiple sectors. The Manchester office has grown steadily and have considerable experience working on city centre/ out-of-town multi-storey commercial offices, new builds and refurbishments across a variety of sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative and supportive consultancy where you ll gain hands-on project experience, professional development, and clear progression opportunities. What you ll be doing:
Assisting the design team in delivering electrical building services projects from concept through to detailed design Learning and developing skills using software packages such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux/Relux Working alongside architects, surveyors, and contractors to gain an understanding of how projects are delivered Supporting the preparation of drawings, specifications, and calculations Attending site visits and team meetings to see designs come to life Gaining knowledge of sustainable design practices, including low-carbon and energy-efficient systems
What we re looking for:
A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering Minimum 1 years experience A genuine interest in building services design and sustainable engineering solutions Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
