Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer
Location: London Victoria
Work Arrangement: 6 month initial contract (will extend beyond), 5 days per week on-site
We are seeking a hands-on Junior IT Support Engineer to provide first-line technical support to our office and remote staff. This role is ideal for a natural problem solver who thrives on learning new technologies, enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, and wants to grow their IT skills in a dynamic environment. You will be the go-to person for diagnosing and resolving diverse technology issues, thinking creatively to find solutions while ensuring our distributed team can work efficiently without technical interruptions.

Key responsibilities:
- Daily Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for end users across hardware and software.
- Provide remote support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Set up and configure new user workstations for office and remote employees.
- Maintain and troubleshoot video conferencing room equipment and software.
- Guide users through troubleshooting with clear communication and patience.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Communicate system outages or maintenance windows to staff.
- Documentation & Communication
- Document common issues and solutions for future reference.
- Track and log support tickets and resolutions.
- Provide basic training to users on new software or procedures.
- System Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain office computer systems and network infrastructure.
- Ensure security protocols are followed for both on-site and remote workers.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
- Preferred experience areas
- Windows operating systems.
- Common office software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Teams, OneDrive).
- Remote support tools and techniques.
- VPN and remote access technologies.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Active Directory user and group policy management.
- Familiarity with cloud services (Office 365, Intune, Azure, AWS).
