Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer


Location: London Victoria


Work Arrangement: 6 month initial contract (will extend beyond), 5 days per week on-site


We are seeking a hands-on Junior IT Support Engineer to provide first-line technical support to our office and remote staff. This role is ideal for a natural problem solver who thrives on learning new technologies, enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, and wants to grow their IT skills in a dynamic environment. You will be the go-to person for diagnosing and resolving diverse technology issues, thinking creatively to find solutions while ensuring our distributed team can work efficiently without technical interruptions.

Key responsibilities:


  • Daily Support & Troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for end users across hardware and software.
  • Provide remote support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
  • Set up and configure new user workstations for office and remote employees.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot video conferencing room equipment and software.
  • Guide users through troubleshooting with clear communication and patience.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Communicate system outages or maintenance windows to staff.
  • Documentation & Communication
  • Document common issues and solutions for future reference.
  • Track and log support tickets and resolutions.
  • Provide basic training to users on new software or procedures.
  • System Maintenance
  • Monitor and maintain office computer systems and network infrastructure.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed for both on-site and remote workers.
  • Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Preferred experience areas
  • Windows operating systems.
  • Common office software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Remote support tools and techniques.
  • VPN and remote access technologies.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Active Directory user and group policy management.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Office 365, Intune, Azure, AWS).
  • Basic scripting and automation.
