Overview

Junior Service Engineer / Junior Service Technician / CNC Engineer required for a global manufacturer of CNC machines.

The Junior Service Engineer / Junior Service Technician / CNC Engineer will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining CNC machinery across the UK and provide training and support to customers on company CAD/CAM software, full CAD/CAM training provided.

The successful Junior Service Engineer / Junior Service Technician / CNC Engineer will be based in the Midlands region and have some knowledge of CNC machines and a qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering. Full product training will be provided.

Junior Service Engineer role

  • Install, service, repair and maintain CNC machinery across the UK and provide training and support to customers on CAD/CAM software, full CAD/CAM training provided.
  • Attend to both electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding on CNC machinery and equipment.
  • Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner when meeting with customers across the UK.
  • Hybrid role covering the UK.

Junior Service Engineer requirements

  • Some knowledge of CNC machines or electromechanical equipment.
  • A qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering – HND, HNC, Apprenticeship or Degree is desirable.
  • Prior experience using CAD/CAM software is advantageous but not a requirement as full training will be provided.
  • Located in the Midlands region.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
