OverviewAn established manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires a Junior Technical CAD/Product Development Engineer.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop products using CAD software such as Auto Desk Inventor.Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and optimised for manufacturing.Checking technical drawings.Supporting the manufacturing team.RequirementsProficiency in CAD software.Good knowledge of metals and machining processes.Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.Experience of Auto Desk Vault.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar.Experience with shop floor machining and manufacturing processes.Experience producing BOMs (Bills of Materials) and technical documentation for manufacturing teams.Hours7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30 to 12.30pm Friday.This is a permanent position that starts immediately #J-18808-Ljbffr
