Overview

Futureheads are working alongside an exciting startup who are building a vibe code platform to enable complex, enterprise sized applications to be built and hosted. With founders from well known tech businesses, they have already assembled a strong team and are now looking to add a DevOps specialist.

The role

Initially, the role will focus on managing AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure within the development team. Over time, as the platform scales and customer demand grows, the DevOps Architect will establish and lead a dedicated operations team. A central responsibility will be transitioning the current developer-led infrastructure into a mature, productised system that is secure, scalable, and ready for certification under ISO27001 or a similar framework within a few years. You will oversee the infrastructure and deployment pipelines to enable growth and streamlined workflows.

This would suit someone who has built out or re-architected infrastructure within an early stage environment for a complex product or products.

The tech stack

• AWS via Terraform for live environments.
• Lambda, S3, RDS with Postgres, CloudWatch, Route 53 and more.
• Kubernetes on EKS with FluxCD.
• TypeScript codebase built on Node.
• AI integration through OpenRouter.

Location & salary

Bristol, 2 x p/w, up to £90k plus equity. No sponsorship is available for this role.
