Join our clients team as a Lead Engineer based out of their office in Motherwell and build something to be proud of.What you'll be doingo Design solutions in conjunction with manufacturers and consultants.o Create and verify EC&I documentation– Specifications/Schedules– Reports and Plans– Detailed installation drawingso Review and check vendor document / information for compliance with projectspecifications.o Support the Engineering Manager and contribute to design / constructionreviews.o Ensure design risks are considered and prepare design risk assessments.Communicate residual design risks to others.o Provide strong technical support and identify innovative and robust solutions.o Develop and maintain relationships with relevant technical consultants andsuppliers, managing their input in the design, development, pricing and deliveryof technical solutions.o Maintain personal expertise and knowledge to ensure that the business stream isat the forefront of the industry both technically and in using the latesttechnologies and standards.o Mentoring and training younger engineers within the team.Who we're looking foro Clear focus on collaboration and building relationships with other designers andProject teams to deliver cost effective and acceptable design solutionso Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and write clearly and succinctlyo Promote innovation and continuous improvement in design.o Excellent IT Skills are desirable and Microsoft Office is essential.o Detailed knowledge of codes of practice and other regulatory material. #J-18808-Ljbffr
