We are recruiting for a Lead Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site in North Lincolnshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader to join a growing production facility based in Scunthorpe. You'll be responsible for leading and supporting a multi-skilled maintenance team across a 24/7 operation, helping to drive engineering performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. This will be working on a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers during your shift, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Work directly with production teams to prioritise engineering support and reduce equipment downtime Take ownership of shift handovers, delivering clear communication and updates to incoming teams and supervisors Actively participate in both reactive and planned maintenance, offering hands-on support where needed Analyse breakdowns and downtime, producing detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and supporting long-term fixes Collaborate with operations, planning, and procurement to ensure timely access to spare parts and resourcesSkills & Experience Required:
