Lead Engineer – City of London (EC2Y)

Location: London Wall - American Financial Services HQ
Salary: Up to £62,000 + £3,000 shift allowance + overtime
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (days & nights - 7am/7pm)

The Opportunity
We are working with the world’s largest facilities management company to recruit a Lead Engineer for a prestigious American Financial Services headquarters in the heart of the City. This is an excellent chance to step into a leadership position, guiding a small team of engineers within a first-class corporate environment.

The Role
As Lead Engineer, you will:

• Oversee and support a team of four engineers, ensuring high standards of tenant service delivery
• Manage and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance on tenant systems (no landlord side responsibilities)
• Act as the first point of escalation for technical issues and ensure swift, effective resolution
• Work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern covering both days and nights (7am/7pm)
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and statutory requirements
• Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to your team

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineer role
