Location: Chandlers Ford with 2 days per week in Hutwood Court offices

Salary: Circa £ 75 ,000 plus bonus at up to 15%
Hours: 40 hrs per week + on-call

What does this role involve?

This role is responsible for management of the Infrastructure Platforms Team and overseeing the design, implementation and support of infrastructure systems. It blends strategic planning, people management, and technical expertise to ensure the delivery of robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure services, both on-prem and in cloud.


The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will champion best practices, drive continuous improvement, and act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.


The role provides support for all Infrastructure Platforms related questions issues and topics and splits their time between a technical and leadership role. They assist and manage the existing Infrastructure Engineers in maintaining both on premise & cloud infrastructure for both project & service introduction activities.


The post holder is responsible for the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of IT infrastructure components (including network, storage, virtualisation and compute) and monitors their performance.

The t echnology environment includes:

Server and Network hardware, Virtualisation, Storage, Server Operating systems, A ctive directory, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SNMP, Web services and database s , Security products, Automation and Configuration Management and/or IaC (Infrastructure as code) technologies a t scale and C loud computing (Azure)

This role will involve on-call working on a rota basis (24/7)

To be successful in this role you may b e requir ed to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
