We are now looking for a Lead Marine Engineer to head up a range of exciting marine projects from retrofits to new builds. You will take the lead on engineering projects relating to marine engines, gearboxes, drives, and associated systems. The role is a 50/50 split between office and site work, primarily across the South Coast, with some national and overseas travel when needed. Key Responsibilities: Oversee installation, diagnostics, testing, and maintenance of marine systems Manage and lead technical aspects of new builds, retrofits, and major overhauls Review engineering drawings, technical documents and performance reports Carry out diagnostics, failure investigations and recommend improvements Ensure compliance with international and company engineering standards Support project budgets, schedules, and resource planning Mentor junior engineers and apprentices Assist with supplier selection and technical reviews Conduct inspections, audits, and sea trials Offer technical advice and support to our dealer network The Company More Than Marine Engineers With branches in Poole, Southampton, Portsmouth and Swanwick and more than 80 years serving our customers, we offer mobile repair facilities throughout the UK supported by our fully equipped workshops and 2000hp engine Dynamometer test centre.
