AboutWe’re looking for a Lead React Native Engineer to join our cross-functional product engineering team. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Analysts to build features that enable customers to snap meals, track their progress, and understand how their diet affects their bodies. ZOE’s React Native mobile app features include:Barcode scanning and AI photo logging of mealsWearables integration for sleep and exercise dataVisualization and tracking of health and diet dataIn-app purchase and management of subscription plansJoyful animations built using RiveOur Mobile Community of Practice regularly connects engineers from different teams on platform initiatives, such as React Native upgrades, accessibility, automated deployments, and end-to-end testing. You’ll help agree on practices that enable fast iteration while building a joyful and high-quality experience that helps our members build habits that improve their number of healthy years and achieve their health goals. This is also a great chance to ask questions about the role, mobile team, or our engineering culture.Stage 2: Hiring Manager Interview – A focused discussion with the Hiring Manager to explore your experience leading mobile engineering efforts, making technical decisions, and mentoring engineers. We’ll also discuss your impact on team culture, cross-functional collaboration, and product outcomes.Stage 3: Final Interview Loop – The final stage includes three sessions designed to assess your technical expertise, system design and architecture skills, and leadership abilities. These are typically spread over 2–3 days, but we’re happy to combine them depending on scheduling needs. COVID-19 note: You’ll need to progress successfully through each step to move forward. We’ll keep you updated at every stage. Technical interviews include a mobile-focused coding exercise (60 mins), system and architecture design interviews, and leadership and values interviews.
