Lead Process Engineer

to join our well-established client based in

Gloucester

on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity offering a competitive salary and room to grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Hours of Work: 37 hours per week,

MONDAY - THURSDAY: 8.30AM – 5.00PM & FRIDAY: 8.30AM - 3.30PM Salary: Competitive, based on experience - £45K-£55K Benefits: Company pension 25 days holiday + bank holidays Career progression opportunities Support for training and qualifications Day-to-Day Duties: Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement across manufacturing Implement and maintain process controls, SOPs, and production process maps Lead PFMEA and Control Plan activities, supporting Quality teams Analyse manufacturing data to improve efficiency, flow, and reduce waste Support new product introductions and Lean improvement activities Troubleshoot process issues and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Report on Process Engineering KPIs and support annual improvement plans Essential Skills: Strong Process Engineering experience in manufacturing APQP knowledge (PPAP, PSW, PFMEA, Control Plans) Experience with process tools: Yamazumi, MOST, Value Stream Mapping, SPC, Spaghetti Diagrams Problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills Ability to read engineering drawings (GD&T) Organised, methodical, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Excellent communication and mentoring skills Experience managing a team Lean manufacturing experience (Single Piece Flow, SMED, 5S, Jidoka) Familiarity with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Gantt charts) Driving license and flexibility to travel Training: Full support for professional development and additional process engineering qualifications Contact If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
