Specialist Recruitment Consultant at Halian Technologies – Halian Technologies are hiring on behalf of our client, who is a leading provider of gym membership and leisure management cloud solutions. We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to guide a dynamic and collaborative development team. This is a leadership role which will include some hands-on development, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and leading others to success.

You’ll be leading software engineers through the full product lifecycle using Agile methodologies. This is a varied role where you’ll split your time between people leadership, scrum mastering, and active development using C#/.NET technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Line manage, mentor, and support a team of developers
• Lead sprint ceremonies: standups, planning, retrospectives, and refinement
• Remove blockers and drive team progress in an Agile environment
• Hands-on coding: design, develop, test, and refactor applications
• Collaborate with Product Owners to align priorities and deliverables
• Maintain code quality through peer reviews and technical leadership
• Become a subject matter expert in key system areas

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software application development
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET Core
• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Skilled in using Visual Studio and Git/SVN for version control
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
