OverviewRole: Lead DevSecOps EngineerLocation: NottinghamWorking Arrangement: Hybrid (twice per week in the office ideally, or remote depending on distance)Salary: Up to £70k plus benefitsRole and responsibilitiesSenior DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer with an infrastructure background, transitioning from traditional infrastructure and networking to cloud-based solutions.Automate mundane tasks and design scalable, highly available, robust solutions with security at the forefront (vulnerability scanning, threat analysis, patching).Drive the company’s DevOps technology strategy and direction as the sole DevOps lead in the organization (no management responsibilities).Hands-on implementation to improve security and efficiency of a just-released product; potential involvement in R&D and Proof of Concept (POC) projects.Utilize Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI), and related tools; explore Terraform, GitOps, and Argo CD.Work with private cloud and on-prem environments due to the nature of the work and customers served (defence, government, critical infrastructure).Eligible and willing to obtain SC clearance.Collaborate with a platform team consisting of engineers at varying levels, contributing technical DevOps knowledge to the team.Tech and toolingKubernetes, Helm, AnsibleAWS, Azure, GCP, OCITerraform, GitOps, Argo CDOn-prem and private cloud environmentsTeam scope and dutiesYou will be the sole DevOps resource in the company, responsible for directing DevOps initiatives and ensuring secure, efficient operations for the product.Qualifications and senioritySeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT ConsultingWe welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background. #J-18808-Ljbffr
