About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Lifting and Handling Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering Safety Department at the Broughton site. You will play a key role in ensuring safe and compliant lifting operations, supporting both day-to-day business and future projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide LOLER advice and guidance to support operational business queries. Create and modify Lift Plans and Lifting Instructions. Act as LOLER Appointed Person for abnormality management. Conduct risk assessments and method statements to ensure legal compliance. Perform LOLER compliance checks and surveillance. Support continuous improvement and future projects as LOLER Appointed Person.Essential:
Background and experience in Lifting and Handling. Knowledge of LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and BS:7121. Previous experience in roles such as Slinger, Banks-person, Crane Driver. Preferably a Lifting Specialist, Supervisor, or LOLER Coach. Lifting Appointed Person A62/A61 or equivalent qualification.
