Join the prestigious team shaping the future of vehicle lighting at a luxury automotive brand. We're looking for a highly experienced Simulation Engineer to support the development of advanced interior and exterior lighting systems through state-of-the-art optical simulation.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in creating and analysing virtual models of vehicles and lighting components, delivering accurate simulation results and ergonomic assessments. Working within the Light Simulation & Photometry team, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and styling teams, as well as external suppliers, to optimise vehicle lighting performance and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and launch optical simulations using Ansys Speos, Catia V5, and HPC tools
Analyse occupant vision, visual ergonomics, and lighting performance across interior and exterior domains
Generate high-quality technical reports and presentations for engineering teams and management
Maintain material libraries and simulation methods, ensuring alignment with real-world results
Support feature owners and suppliers with data interpretation and solution development
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field
