A fast-growing deep-tech startup in London is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to help build their next-generation AI simulation platform. Their technology powers high-fidelity, multi-physics simulations that accelerate hardware innovation across industries such as aerospace, energy, and automotive.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with simulation engineers, data scientists, and customers to turn cutting-edge R&D into scalable products
• Build and deploy machine learning models and pipelines in Python
• Apply ML to real-world engineering or industrial settings
• Work with distributed computing tools and cloud platforms (Spark, Dask; AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

The role is hybrid (2-3 days a week in their London office).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying ML to real-world engineering or industrial settings
• Proficiency in building and deploying ML models and pipelines in Python
• Knowledge of distributed computing (Spark, Dask) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to own technical workstreams
