Maintenance Engineer - 4 day week (CNC)

Maxwell Consultancy are working with a global market leader in their search for a Maintenance Engineer/Technician. Working in their state of the art manufacturing workshop in Glasgow. This is a permanent position working Monday to Thursday (Fridays off). The business is going from strength to strength in recent times and has the latest CNC machinery in their workshop. What's required?

Experience in heavy engineering/manufacturing environment Mechanical bias with electrical capabilities Service and repair manual CNC machinery, carrying out diagnostics and repairs Maintenance of site infrastructure, plant and equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Assist in developing maintenance procedures and programs. Ensure that health, safety and environmental guidelines are followed. Understand drawings and O&M manuals, assisting in identifying and sourcing components. Provide on-going support and training to peers and apprentices where required. Participate in continuous improvement and project activities when required. IPAF or equivalent certification is desirable. Forklift truck counterbalance license. Experience in lifting and slinging is desirable
