CK Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join a global animal health company on a contract basis for 12 months

Salary:

£161.48 per day PAYE

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Role:

Implement corrective and preventive maintenance of all

mechanical/electrical

equipment on site and to ensure compliance to HSE, Bio security, appropriate GMP standards, enabling the reliable and safe operation of the manufacturing facility. Perform electrical maintenance in a pharmaceutical environment, including installing/ repairing lamps, ring final circuits, identifying faults in controls systems, understanding motor control circuits. Effective fault finding and problem solving on

mechanical/electrical

systems to minimise business impact. To identify and implement improvements in

mechanical/electrical

standards and efficiencies on the site following site procedures. To work as part of the maintenance team to maintain the site to a safe and reliable standard, sharing skill and expertise with team members to ensure an efficient and effective maintenance service. Your Background :

• Recognised training to City & Guilds standard Electrical. • C&G Inspection & Testing (preferred). • Fully conversant with the 18th Edition Electrical regulations. • Ability to fault find via control panels and PLC’s, wiring diagrams and carry out fault finding diagnosis. • Demonstrable experience in

electrical/mechanical

installation and fault finding required. • Experience in writing up a root cause analysis (RCA's) of equipment issues, using problem solving tools and techniques (preferred).
