Logoplaste UK are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to integrate into the plant operation team in Coleford.Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.Key tasks & ActivitiesCarry out scheduled preventative maintenance of all plant equipment on siteMaintaining PPM’s, work procedures, risk assessments and involvement in continuous improvement activities across the siteRespond efficiently to equipment failures and diagnosing breakdowns to minimize downtimePlan, implement and coordinate safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions. Promoting workplace and equipment safety by identifying and monitoring potential hazards to people or the sites equipmentHydraulics and Pneumatics experienceExperience with PLC (Siemens 7)Use of SAPEnsuring part components are booked to correct SAP maintenance transactionsAwareness and Adherence of Health and Safety Policies.Complete risk assessmentsWho we are looking for...Background and ExperienceElectrically biased with strong Mechanical skillsProven track record of engineering experience in manufacturing. Blow moulding / Injection moulding would be advantageousIT and computer maintenance systems (CMS / SAP) would be advantageousGood logical thought process regarding fault diagnosis and rectificationTechnical SkillsKnowledge of PLC’s and Inverter drives would be advantageous.18th edition would be advantageous.Proficient with PC based systems (Excel, SAP) to oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs.
