Food & Drink FMCG Salary: Up to £50,500 + Overtime (x1.5) 4 On 4 Off (2x Days | 2x Nights)
Were on the lookout for an experienced, enthusiastic, and hands-on Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to support our busy engineering department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of industrial machinery while playing a key role in projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives across our factory.
What Youll Be Doing:
Carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical machinery. Diagnosing and repairing faults quickly to minimise downtime. Setting up and adjusting machines, resolving production issues, and suggesting modifications. Supporting production teams and collaborating across all functions. Supervising contractors and advising colleagues on technical matters. Ensuring all work complies with company safety procedures and health & safety legislation.
What Were Looking For:
Previous experience within a
Food & Drink FMCG environment . A
time-served electrical/mechanical apprenticeship (Level 3) . Strong knowledge of
PLC fault-finding
and computer-controlled systems. Skilled in
electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault-finding . A proactive self-starter who can work independently but also thrives in a team. Flexible and adaptable, with excellent communication skills from shop floor to senior management.
