Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Salary:

£46,535 to £50,107

Shifts:

4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights (2 days, 2 nights)

Key Responsibilities: Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site

Supporting breakdown response and ensuring rapid recovery of production

Working in line with health, safety, and environmental procedures

Ensuring all parts and spares are logged and recorded correctly

Driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the maintenance department

Basic fault finding on two-phase motors and related electrical components

Requirements: BTEC or NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering

Basic electrical understanding, including two-phase motors

Experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical fault finding and problem-solving ability

Familiarity with continuous improvement methods and planned maintenance systems

Comfortable in a hands-on maintenance environment
