Job Description
Im currently working with a leading multi-national packaging manufacturing business that has an excellent opportunity for aMaintenance Engineerto join their team in Bedford.

The Role:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and attend to production breakdowns.
Perform inspections and work in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Work closely with colleagues and other departments to improve processes and efficiencies.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality.
Manage your daily workload and priorities effectively.
Liaise with suppliers for sourcing parts and equipment at competitive prices.
The Ideal Candidate:
An experienced Engineer, ideally time-served or apprentice-trained.
Competent in electrical work and comfortable in a multi-skilled engineering role.
Background in FMCG manufacturing is advantageous.
Computer literate and able to use modern maintenance systems.
Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
A flexible team player who can also work independently.
Strong awareness of health & safety and experience conducting risk assessments.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Whats on Offer:
£51500 on a 0600-1400 & 1400-2200 monday to friday- no nights.
