Maintenance Engineer

Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading 1st tier automotive supplier & manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Remit:
* As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the effective day to day maintenance of all machinery, building and factory equipment
* The successful candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing or production environment in a maintenance engineer capacity
Role:
* Repair and service all factory machinery as and when required.
* Participate in on-going day to day maintenance of the factory in general.
* Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as and when required.
* Participate in trouble shooting activities in respect to plant associated breakdowns,
* To undertake planned preventative/predictive maintenance activities in accordance with the annual TPM schedule.
* Maintain high levels of housekeeping at all times.
* Any other duties as and when required.
Experience Requirements:
* Experience of working within a manufacturing or production environment in a maintenance engineer capacity is essential.
* Must be trained to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area (i.e. performing engineering operations).
* Should have either hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical experience preferable.
