An opportunity has arisen to join our Building Services team here at Lyreco in Telford. Our Maintenance Engineers are responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of all equipment in both our Warehouse and Offices.Benefits: 31 days holiday, rising to 38 after longer service (inclusive of bank holidays), Pension & Life Assurance Scheme, Private medical insurance (after one year of service), 2 fully paid community volunteering days each year, Referral Scheme, Opportunity for career break – after 3 years of serviceAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be involved in the configuration, installation, and commissioning of equipment as necessary. You will contribute to maximising site efficiency by minimising equipment downtime and undertake maintenance work related to building services as required.It is important that our Maintenance Engineer has:City & Guilds or equivalent in electro/mechanical engineeringRecent demonstrable multi-skilled industry experience with electro/mechanical equipment (with a higher focus on electrical)Strong fault-finding experience across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated software-controlled equipment (Hydraulics a bonus)Working knowledge of logistics equipment (e.g., automated conveyor systems and packaging equipment including AC motors and inverters)Experience with automated and PLC equipment (SIEMENS S7 knowledge/experience being a bonus)Qualification or working experience in electrical installations (distribution boards, 3-phase and single-phase power supplies)The ability to work shiftsAbility to undertake manual handling and physical activitiesAbout Us: At Lyreco, we are global leaders in providing workplace supplies, dedicated to offering the best solutions to businesses worldwide.
