Maintenance Engineer London Our client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative / Engineer in the London region. JOB PURPOSE: A versatile maintenance operative to provide planned and reactive assistance to clients properties for general maintenance work and to carry out mini refits to stores. To work mainly within London and the South of England, although travel to other parts of the country maybe required with overnight stays. The role is to be during normal working hours although out of hours call outs will be necessary from time to time. The candidate will need to have a can-do attitude and be flexible with their approach to multi-site management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carry out the following to the clients stores and Corporate offices General maintenance Joinery Basic plumbing Minor electrical works (re-lamping etc.) Emergency response Larger property projects such as refits, setting up new stores etc Assistance to external contractors i.e. shutter contractors Some out of hours work will be required ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5 years experience within a Maintenance or Shopfitting role Experience carrying out general maintenance to include changing locks, basic plumbing, re-lamping tiling, laying carpets / flooring Clean Driving license Basic IT skills Basic understanding of H&S within the workplace DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience of Shopfitting Experience of painting and decorating Electrical certification Understanding of Asbestos PACKAGE: £37,500 + Package + Benefits + Van By applying for this role, you are consenting for Gravity Recruit Limited to hold and process your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
