Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer – Food Manufacturing

Location: Boston

Salary: £52,500

Shifts: 4 on 4 off / Days & Nights We are looking for an experienced

Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

to join our busy

food manufacturing facility . This role is vital in keeping production moving, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on production machinery.

Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including PLCs, sensors, motors, conveyors, and control panels.

Support with mechanical maintenance (gearboxes, bearings, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics).

Minimise downtime and maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

Work collaboratively with production teams and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Skills & Experience: Recognised qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.

Previous maintenance engineering experience within food, FMCG, or manufacturing.

Strong electrical fault-finding skills with PLCs and control systems.

Ability to support mechanical tasks when needed.

Proactive, team-focused, and safety-conscious approach.
