A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a well-established, award winning manufacturing business located in the East Midlands. This organisation is a market leader in its sector, supplying a wide range of high-quality products to a national client base, including window and door manufacturers, house builders, landscapers, and trade suppliers. Role Overview

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position calls for a multi-skilled engineer with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Ideally, you will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility will be to perform planned maintenance, attend to equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently, and help drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime. Key Responsibilities

Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance for machinery, plant, and water treatment systems

Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation and internal procedures

Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly

Source and fit replacement components, fixtures, or fittings

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

Develop and implement maintenance procedures

Manage inventory of parts and maintenance supplies

Conduct quality checks as part of routine maintenance

Required Skills & Knowledge

Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance capabilities

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

Team player with a proactive approach

Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles is a plus

Qualifications & Experience

Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds or higher in Engineering Maintenance)

17th or 18th Edition certification (desirable)

Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults

Experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment is preferred
