Job Overview As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer at Arbor Forest Products, you will be an integral part of our shift engineering team, responsible for carrying out maintenance across our 90-acre site. Your mission: ensure our plant, services, buildings, and equipment run smoothly and safely - day in, day out. This is more than just maintenance - its engineering with purpose. Key Responsibilities : Perform both reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks across the site. Maximise machine availability Maintain records to comply with site policies and health & safety standards. Design, implement, and record PPM schedules. Teach, coach, and mentor apprentices. Be flexible to work extra hours when required, including weekends and possible night shifts. Additional duties as directed by management.

What We Are Looking For : Qualifications : Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent recognized qualifications. Minimum NVQ/BTEC level 3 or equivalent Higher qualifications in relevant engineering discipline will be looked on favourably. Experience :

Multi-skilled with an electrical bias preferred. Experience in high-speed, continuous industrial environments. Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship Experience with PPM systems. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure vessels, and dust extraction systems is beneficial. Experience in woodworking environments is advantageous. Skills :

Good computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. Comprehensive Knowledge and experience of industrial Electrical (single & three phase) and Mechanical systems. Experience with lean manufacturing systems.
