gap technical are seeking an Automated Warehouse Engineer to join our client. This role offers the chance to be a key part of a fast-paced, high-tech logistics operation. As an Automated Warehouse Engineer, you will ensure the continuous running and efficiency of cranes, conveyors, elevators, shuttle cars, and the Logistics Rail Head, supporting a state-of-the-art warehousing environment.

Performance Objectives Ensure smooth operation of the automated warehouse system. Carry out all planned preventative maintenance safely and within set deadlines. Diagnose and repair faults quickly to minimise downtime. Maintain all warehouse plant and machinery, ensuring operational readiness. Conduct weekly testing of sprinkler systems and pumps. Drive continuous improvement of warehouse systems and processes. Coordinate and oversee contractors on site, ensuring compliance with site rules and regulations. Work collaboratively with Production, Despatch, and Filling teams to optimise performance.
