Maintenance Engineer

My client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a modern engineering and manufacturing site in the Worthing/Littlehampton area. This hands-on role is focused on keeping production running smoothly through preventative maintenance, rapid breakdown response, and continuous improvement across a wide range of equipment.The RoleCarry out both preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities.Troubleshoot, fault-find, and repair electrical and mechanical issues.Work with control systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and overhead cranes.Perform routine servicing and inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines.Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow strict Health & Safety procedures.Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives on site.Experience & QualificationsEssential:Recognised engineering qualification (apprenticeship to ONC/Level 3 or equivalent).Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance background in a manufacturing environment.Desirable:17th/18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.IPAF, FLT, or boiler operation certificates.Knowledge of Allen Bradley/Siemens PLCs.PackageSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per yearRegular overtime availableFull benefits to be discussed??
