Multi Skilled Maintenance & Machine Build Engineer – Bespoke Days – £43K+
Commutable from Castle Vale, Erdington, Minworth, Sutton Coldfield & Surrounding Areas
Are you a mechanically or electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure, long term position with no night shifts, a varied workload and great work life balance?
Due to an upcoming retirement, were looking to add a versatile and experienced Maintenance Engineer to our established team. This is a hands on, all round role where you’ll use your full range of skills from day to day maintenance through to machine building, improvement projects and occasional fabrication work.

About the Role:
* Working in a busy engineering environment, you’ll carry out a wide range of tasks including:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Reactive fault finding and repairs
* Machine building, rebuilds and installation (in house)
* Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
* This is not just a maintenance job – it’s a varied engineering role where your practical experience and initiative will be fully utilised to help keep the site running efficiently and improve equipment performance over time.
What Were Looking For:
* A qualified Maintenance Engineer (mechanical or electrical)
* Broad engineering experience in an industrial setting – such as manufacturing, production, or distribution
* Confident working with motors, drives, HMIs, and basic Plc controls
* Practical hands on skills across fault finding, maintenance, and machinery improvements
* Experience in machine build and/or welding & fabrication would be a strong advantage
* A flexible, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
