We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient running, fault finding, and repair of plant equipment. The role supports minimal downtime and maximum productivity across the facility. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Maintain accurate maintenance records. Keep tools and workshops organised. Report equipment issues to the Engineering Manager. Support apprentices and new staff. Participate in team briefings and cross-training. Adhere to all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and environmental procedures. Liaise with contractors as needed. Essential Criteria Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar). Experience in a similar maintenance role in manufacturing or industry. Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Desirable Health & Safety training (e.g. Manual Handling, Working at Height). Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation. CMMS experience. Skills: Maintenance repair service
