OverviewSenior Maintenance Engineer (Multi skilled, Electrical Bias) – Rugby, Warwickshire. GBP45,000 + GBP2,500 lock-up bonus, generous benefits, generous overtime and pension. Our Rugby-based client has been established globally for over a century and are recognized as market leaders in the manufacture and distribution of their niche sector solutions. They are seeking a multi-skilled, electrically biased Senior Maintenance Engineer to complement their professional engineering team.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a multi-disciplinary team of maintenance engineers tasked with undertaking both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown maintenance on a range of automated systems and mechanical handling equipment, including conveyors, shuttle systems, cranes, robots and vision systems in a fast-paced automated warehousing and distribution centre environment.Perform reactive fault finding, diagnosis and repair of automated and manual mechanical handling equipment; analyse breakdowns to determine root cause and prevent re-occurrence; contribute to proactive maintenance schedules to ensure targets are met.Ensure all KPIs and objectives set for the team are achieved within target parameters.Deliver ongoing continuous improvements to equipment; assist with projects; develop and maintain best practices; share experience to support junior engineers and apprentices.Coordinate and liaise with contractors to ensure on-time project completion while prioritising value for money; undertake site visits as necessary to ensure standards are met.Qualifications and ExperienceProven leadership and supervisory experience in an engineering maintenance environment.Electrical maintenance engineering apprenticeship or equivalent; ideally hold an HND or above.At least 3 years' experience in an electrically biased, multi-skilled maintenance engineering environment.Technical knowledge of automation electrical systems, S7 PLCs and inverter-driven systems; Profinet, Profibus, Can-Bus and ASI networks.Experience with barcode scanning networks, manual and automated picking cranes, pallet and tote conveyors; strong overall experience of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Remuneration and BenefitsSalary: GBP45,000 with GBP2,500 lock-up bonus; generous benefits, overtime and pension; training and genuine career progression opportunities are available.How to ApplyContact the Maintenance Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on # # or in confidence to # for further details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
