This is an exciting opportunity to join our maintenance team and help resolve, repair issues and maintain equipment in our site. Working full time, reporting into our Facilities & Maintenance Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with 3rd party contracts to ensure best valueH&S Requirements, site compliance being key, i.e., PUWER/LOLER etcPut health & safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulationsPlanned maintenance schedules are followed and actioned effectivelyTo work within the Facilities teams to resolve, repair issues and maintain equipment, assisting with quotes and project workReact quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issueSupport continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvementsSkills And ExperienceThe right candidate would have warehouse automation experience as the company looks to open our new warehouseServed a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC all at Level 3)Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplinesExperience of setting standards and implementing on them siteWarehouse internals i.e. Racking/dock doors/dock lifting systems/ sprinklers/lighting/power distribution/plumbing/joinery and general repair worksOrganise and prioritise multiple maintenance worksGood communication skills within a team but also working alongside operationsWhy Join Us?This role offers much more than just a job—it’s a chance to grow, develop, and shape your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.We’re proud to offer a range of benefits to our colleagues, including:Discounts in our stores.Free on-site parking.Access to an exclusive colleague portal with savings on retail, hospitality, and more.And so much more!
