A leading multinational manufacturer of plastic parts and components for major OEMs is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.Salary: Up to £47,000 + Overtime | Monday-Friday | 37.5 hours per weekWorking in a busy manufacturing environment, your duties will focus on maximising production uptime through the timely resolution of breakdowns and ensuring TPM activities are carried out according to schedule, as well as overseeing planned subcontracted services.As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:Responding to both breakdowns and planned maintenance of production machineryMaintaining the spare parts inventory, ordering replacements as neededEnsuring all maintenance activities are accurately recordedTroubleshooting and fault-finding equipment to resolve issuesTo be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will ideally:Be multi-skilled, with experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsHold a qualification in either an electrical or mechanical disciplineHave worked on plastic processing machinery such as injection moulding, extrusion, or blow moulding machinesHave experience working with PLCsHold 18th Edition electrical regulations certificationASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
