Hours:

Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm | Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary:

£45,000 – £50,000 + Excellent Benefits (11% pension, healthcare, generous holiday allowance) The Role

We are seeking a skilled

Electrical Engineer

to join a well-established engineering team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, diagnosing faults, and ensuring plant reliability. You'll be working as part of a team of engineers, while also taking initiative to work independently when required. Key Responsibilities Carry out

routine maintenance and inspections

of electrical systems and equipment

React promptly and effectively to

plant breakdowns

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, providing practical solutions

Install, maintain and repair

3-phase motors, PLCs, VFDs , and associated equipment

Replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and systems

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, health & safety, and engineering standards

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and update work orders/equipment records

Support

continuous improvement projects

to enhance system efficiency and reliability

Participate in the

call-out system

as required

What We're Looking For Fully qualified

Electrical Engineer/Technician

(17th/18th Edition preferred)

Strong experience with

PLC systems, drives, motors, and control systems

Background in manufacturing, heavy industry, or forces considered

Ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit engineering team

A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
