Maintenance Engineer
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: up to £57,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing site. The role involves maintaining and repairing production and utility equipment, supporting GMP compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a regulated setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, calibration, and setup of production/utility equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and methodically.
Complete all work and documentation in line with GMP and internal standards.
Support shift handovers and cross-departmental collaboration.
Contribute to continuous improvement and compliance initiatives.
Adhere to all safety protocols and engineering procedures.Skills & Experience needed for Maintenance Engineer:
Experience in maintaining pharmaceutical or process equipment (e.g., sterile water systems, HVAC, filling lines).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Experience in regulated industries (pharma, food, chemical).
Familiarity with GMP environments and CMMS.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.Benefits:
